The Bloomsbury acoustic is ideal for music of all kinds, both instrumental and vocal. The curved pews provide a feeling of intimacy wholly in accord with the ethos of chamber music. In order to capitalise on these assets, three series of Wednesday recitals take place annually. The artists are drawn mainly, though not exclusively, from the London music colleges or their recent graduates. The performers have freedom to choose the music that is performed, so the accordion and the musical saw have featured as well more traditional instruments. Why not come to Bloomsbury and discover the wealth of talent being nurtured in London?.
Our regular Wednesday recitals start at 6pm.
Admission is free, but there is a collection to cover the cost of running the recitals.
