Church Anniversary - A celebration

On Church Anniversary Sunday, 15 July 2007, the church recognised the service of Fred Mardell who has seved the church faithfully as Deacon for 50 years. Fred was presented with a framed print of the church by Ruth Gouldbourne to warm applause from the congregation.

Young Abigail and Eden were solosists in the choir anthem at our anniversary service when the choir sang John Rutter's Look at the world.

We were pleased to welcome as our guest preacher Canon Michael Saward who took as his text the familiar parable of the Good Samaritan.
