Annual Carol Concert
Friday 21 December

For many the 'Spirit of Christmas'
begins with Bloomsbury's Annual Carol Concert. This year was
no exception as the church was filled with the sound of the
music of Bloomsbury's own choir and musicians, and singers
from the Japanese Christian Fellowship.

Poetry and prose on a Christmas theme
interspered the choral items and congregational singing.

The Christmas Gospel from John 1 was movingly
read this year by Richard Bowers and Philip Luke, at the organ
console, rounded off proceedings with the sound of the new
tuba stop as he played Andrew Carter's Toccata on Veni Emmanuel.
