We're on a journey - Sunday Club banner

Over the summer the Sunday Club children and young people have been making a banner. Week by week - along with the adults in the morning services - they in their activities have been looking at readings from the letter to the Hebrews and looking at stories of faith in God.

The completed banner is now on display across the front of the gallery and shows:
Where are we going? The journey began with Abraham who left his home and went into the unknown because God told him to go.
Keep on going? They learned about other people, some in the Bible and some who lived more recently, who have lived by faith.
Love God, love your neighbour. They saw how all of us in the church belong to this community of faith in God and his son Jesus.
Build it up. Lastly the banner shows how we can build up our community of faith using images from Hebrews 13.
