Sunday Prayers

On Sundays, before our morning worship services there is the opportunity to explore an alternative form of prayer.

Discerning Prayer : Sundays : 10.10am - 10.30am
As a church we are having a period of reflection and exploration as we look towards the future, and how our life here as a church might develop. So, for half an hour on a Sunday morning before the service, there is an invitation to meet together to pray for the church and its ministry, and specifically for the future work. In this meeting, we are going to draw on the tradition that has been very strong in the Free Churches, of an open prayer meeting. Although there will be somebody leading, there will be opportunity for all to take part, aloud or silently, in praying that we will discern the mind of Christ.

These meetings are open to anybody who wishes to come. Although there is strength in the “habit of meeting together”, coming once, or occasionally, is fine.
