Friends of Bloomsbury
For the past 150 years, we have welcomed people to Bloomsbury from all over the world. Many of our visitors have quickly developed a bond with us, and we greatly value the relationships that have grown over the years with people who live tens, hundreds, or even thousands of miles from London. To strengthen these links, we have created Friends of Bloomsbury, and invite anyone who is interested to join.
What is a friend?
Friends are an international group of like-minded people who share our vision of a church which engages with issues of international relations, poverty and justice, but also strives to serve the local community here in London by opening its doors every day to offer friendship and help to the many people who call in, some in great need.
What is expected of a friend?
Friends are invited to remember the church in prayer, to support us financially (on a regular or occasional basis) and generally to support and commend the church. Gifts we receive do not become part of our general funds, but are recorded in a special account to be used at the discretion of the Deacons.

Sunday lunch is a weekly fixture of Bloomsbury, where church members, visitors and people in need meet, talk and share a meal. |
