Today's Knitivity Service was a lot of fun:
About Us
Many people 'drop in' to Bloomsbury for our 11am Sunday service - some are passing through London seeking a place to worship, others are looking for a new church to join, others are just exploring the idea of faith. Whoever you are, and whatever your reason for visiting, you are very welcome.
Our Address is: 235 Shaftesbury Avenue, WC2H 8EP
The Nearest Tube is: Tottenham Court Road

People start arriving from 10.45am, and we have tea and coffee available. You will be welcomed at the door, and can choose to either stand around and talk with people in the foyer, or take a seat in the Sanctuary and sit quietly. You will be offered a printed order of service, but the words of the hymns and Bible readings are also displayed on screens during the service. We mostly sing to our wonderful pipe organ, and occasionally also have other musicians lead us. At the end of the service, people usually sit for a moment in contemplation, and then make their way to the foyer either for refreshments or to leave.
If you would like someone to know you are coming and be ready to welcome you, or if you have any requests as to how we can make you feel most welcome, please send a message to our Minister Simon or our Communities Minister Dawn through the contact page. We will do our best to respond positively to requests relating to disability and access needs, including support animals.
A typical service order is as follows:
Order for the Morning Worship
As you are able, please stand for the Call to Worship and Hymns; we remain seated to pray.
