Mayflower: A Play
Coming to Bloomsbury on 18 November:
The story of determined men and women, 400 years ago, who crossed the ocean to worship in their own way.
They faced huge odds: bullying by the venture capitalists of the day, sickness and death on board, leaking ships, terrifying storms at sea, and personal heartbreak....
And what would they find when they got there?
The play will be staged as a dramatized reading by nine professional actors, directed by Kenneth Michaels.
"By addressing the disabilities faced by those who are marginalized, and through empowering them to rise up and enter into their full capacity for life, we create a lasting impact that extends far beyond momentary acts of charity." - Revd Dr Simon Woodman
